This seamless interface correlates the process data from OSIsoft's Plant Information (PI) software with the
quality data in LabSoft LIMS. External Data for PI provides the following enhancements to LabSoft LIMS:
- View PI and LabSoft LIMS data side-by-side in a matrix style data grid in LabSoft LIMS.
- Export the quality data in LabSoft LIMS to PI.
- View the process data stored in PI from LabSoft LIMS.
These features provide LabSoft LIMS users with a greater ability to monitor and control their process by linking
the manufacturing data stored in PI with the quality data in LabSoft LIMS.
