LabSoft LIMS uses "Group Based Security" allowing an unlimited number of Groups to be created
each specifying the privileges allowed to the members of the group. Common Group names are: Management,
Engineers, Operators, etc. Users are then assigned to as many groups as needed to define each specific
user's privileges. This method allows new users to be quickly added to the system by simply
"joining" them to the defined Groups. This overcomes the traditional inflexible hard
coded "level" approach used by many systems.
